The African Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AFAERE) is an international scientific association whose main purpose is to promote research, capacity building, collaboration, information sharing, advocacy, visibility and impact of environmental and natural resource economics.

FINAL REMINDER

WCERE Early‑Bird Registration (Deadline: 15 April)

AFAERE urges all members, affiliates, and Africa‑based researchers to register for the World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists (WCERE) before the early‑bird deadline of Wednesday, 15 April. WCERE is a flagship global conference held every four years, and AFAERE is proud to serve as a co‑host.

Strong participation by AFAERE members is essential to strengthening African representation at the Congress and sustaining AFAERE’s visibility and resource base. Registration by the early‑bird deadline is also a requirement for inclusion in the programme, particularly for presenting authors.

Members are encouraged to take advantage of early‑bird rates and the AFAERE membership discount. Please ensure your AFAERE membership is active and select the AFAERE membership link during WCERE registration to receive the discount.

Promote policy-relevant research and interaction that assist policy goals and mandates consistent with the achievement of the environmental and resource economics components of Africa’s development

WCEREA

The WORLD COUNCIL OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND RESOURCE ECONOMISTS ASSOCIATIONS (WCEREA) is a coordinating organization whose members are AAERE, AERE, AFAERE and EAERE. LAERE participates at WCEREA as a partner. Other associations may join in the future, as members of partners.
